I miss the ride over to the yard office in the old days. I miss the smell of the railroad on his clothes when he came home from working as a brakeman. I miss the swearing when the "call boy" finally got hold of him to tell him he was
"first out". I miss him. He was a good man.

Fun at a Show. I had 47 lamps on display in a 10' x 10' Booth I Told My Grandson, Who Helps Me, That It Was Too Many. So, At The Next Show I Only Displayed 44. Much Better, Much Better.
It's either an addiction or a disease. Either way, it feels good. Kind of like chocolate. ***************************************
Copper & Brass Weathervane!!!!!!!!!!!
I had fun making this guy. It's just Folk Art.
It's amazing how many hours you can
fritter away on a fun project
When the sun is out, no gnats, no deer flies,
no mosquitos, and propane to burn.
Life is good in the Far Northwest.
A cousin of mine sent me a card
some time ago.
On it she wrote ...
"The weather is here
Wish you were beautiful!"
I laughed 'till I cried.
Not only is she my cousin.
She's my friend.
I have a great family.
Lucky Me!!!!!!

Seattle in the snow!!
One of my lapses of sanity drove me to build this train out of plumbing parts and a waste basket. It was intended for use as a sign for my future shop. The worm looking trackage on the patio is "G" gauge garden railway line that I had set out for a Christmas get together for the Grandchildren. The snow lasted a couple of days - a couple of days too many.
